Cuddle Fleece Crochet Mini Easter Basket

A while back we had a crocheter here who would make these Small Easter Baskets and fill them with jelly beans. She would then give them as gifts to her church friends.

Those baskets were so cute we decided to make our own version and share it with you. Cuddle Fleece and Serenity Chunky are both perfect yarns for this project, and both yarns come in several colors and multis that are great for spring and Easter projects.

This project is super quick and easy to do, making it a great beginner crochet project. You have time to make several of them for Easter gifts for friends and family. What a special Easter gift!

Home Cotton Flower Dishcloth

Dishcloths are a favorite project for many crocheters. There are several good reasons for this. One, dishcloths can be very easy projects, making them great for beginning crocheters. Also, dishcloths can be completed in a very small amount of time, as opposed to other projects that can be very time-consuming. And because they are small, they are great take-along projects. Dishcloths can also have more complicated stitches and patterns, making them an excellent learning tool for more experienced crocheters who are looking to master new skills.

We have an adorable pattern called Spring Flowers Washcloth, pattern found here, that is basically an embellished Granny Square. We've used Home Cotton^TM for our dishcloth. Premier Home Cotton Yarn is cotton blended with polyester which means projects dry faster, colors stay brighter longer and hand-made projects last longer! This cute floral dishcloth can also be used as a washcloth, or as a springtime decoration for your kitchen or bath.

You will need 3 colors of Home Cotton to make your washcloth, and a size G crochet hook.

Arm Knit Scarf - Starry Night and Starbella Lace

With all of the specialty yarns available today, it's easy to create beautiful fashion scarves or cowls quickly. As a matter of fact, it's so easy we've taught our friend Eddie how to arm knit and he's now making beautiful scarves for his wife!

The scarf Eddie is making here uses two of Premier's specialty yarns: Starry Night, our new favorite ribbon yarn, and Starbella Lace, typically used as a ruffling yarn. Starry Night is a wide variegated ribbon featuring bars of silver and gold glitter in a palette of 9 fashion colors. Starbella Lace is a super bulky yarn with all the fashion of the ruffle trend with a delicate lacy edge, and it comes in 12 vivid colors.

When you combine Starry Night in Majesty with Starbella Lace in Thistle, you get this amazing scarf.

We've also created a version of this scarf in earth tones, shown below. It's one of our favorites!
